Engineer El Sayed Amin, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, carried out a comprehensive field inspection tour in the Green Valley area, previously referred to as the “Earthquake Area,” to monitor the progress of development activities and the enhancement of residential buildings, utilities, and public services. This comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to upgrade residential communities and improve citizens’ quality of life.
Upgrading the Former Earthquake Area in Badr City to the Highest Standards
The inspection tour covered the ongoing rehabilitation works of residential buildings, alongside the implementation of interlock paving, curbstone installation, internal road improvements, and asphalt paving works. These efforts are being carried out through an integrated plan designed to upgrade infrastructure and restore the urban appearance of residential neighborhoods in Badr City.
The Head of the Authority also reviewed cleaning campaigns and waste removal operations across a number of streets and surrounding areas. He stressed the necessity of maintaining daily cleaning and beautification efforts to preserve the city’s organized and civilized appearance while ensuring a healthy and safe environment for residents. He further highlighted the importance of strengthening field monitoring to guarantee the continuity and efficiency of services provided to citizens.
During the tour, Engineer El Sayed Amin confirmed that the city authority is continuing to implement development plans across various sectors according to the approved timelines, in line with the state’s directives aimed at enhancing service standards and improving living conditions in new urban communities. He noted that continuous supervision of ongoing projects is essential to ensuring that all work is executed with the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
He further explained that the development works are intended to create a fully integrated urban environment that meets the aspirations of Badr City residents, while ongoing efforts continue to focus on upgrading roads, residential districts, and essential services, contributing to sustainable development and raising the overall standard of living within the city.
The Head of the Badr City Development Authority also stated that these efforts are being implemented under the directives of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Dr. Engineer Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities, and Engineer Ammar Mandour, regarding the continuous follow-up of development projects in new cities.
