Senior Officials Inspect Housing and Infrastructure Projects in 10th of Ramadan City

Eng. Amin Ghoneim, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Utilities, and Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagi, Vice President for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of housing and infrastructure projects in 10th of Ramadan City. They were accompanied by NUCA officials and Eng. Alaa Abdallah Mostafa, Head of the City Authority, along with project teams.

The tour began with a visit to the pond area along the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road. The officials reviewed the progress of backfilling unregulated ponds and the establishment of new sedimentation basins as a sustainable alternative. Eng. Amin Ghoneim emphasized the importance of accelerating work to ensure sustainable infrastructure and enhance network efficiency, aligning with the comprehensive development plan’s objectives.

The delegation also inspected projects under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” particularly in District 20. This district comprises 98 buildings with 3,252 units, each measuring 90 square meters, with utilities completed and construction at an advanced stage.

In the Nargis District, the officials reviewed progress across its phases. Phase 5 includes 298 buildings with 7,152 residential units, achieving an average completion rate of 85%. Phase 6 features 240 buildings with 5,760 units, currently at a medium completion stage.

Additionally, in the area east of the Andalus District, the team assessed work on 125 residential buildings containing 3,000 units, each 90 square meters in size, with construction advancing steadily.

At the conclusion of the tour, ministry officials stressed the importance of adhering to project timelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality to meet citizens’ needs.
