Removal of Encroachments on 80 Feddans in New Luxor and 15 Building Violations in the North Coast

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the success of efforts to remove encroachments and reclaim approximately 80 feddans in New Luxor City. The operation involved the removal of illegal agricultural activities and buildings in six cases of land encroachment. The operation took place in the presence of Engineer Mohamed Essam El-Din Mohamed Fathy, Head of the New Tiba City Development Authority and Supervisor of New Luxor City, along with officials from the authority and a force from the Luxor Security Directorate.

The minister also added that 15 demolition orders were carried out in the Zawyet El-Awama area (north of the Coastal Road), where 15 illegal buildings were removed. The operation was conducted under the security of the El-Dabaa Police Department and in the presence of Engineer Nader El-Sayed Zaafar, Head of the Second Sector Development Authority in the Northwestern North Coast, along with officials from the authority.

These actions come as part of efforts to reinforce order, combat land violations, protect state property, and remove any encroachments on lands under the jurisdiction of new urban cities.
