Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, minister of housing, utilities, and urban communities, participated this evening in an event organized by the Tahya Misr Fund at the Heritage City in New Alamein City, attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, prime minister, to mark the 12th anniversary of the fund’s establishment.
The event was held as part of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to strengthen social protection for the most vulnerable families and promote the values of social solidarity and cohesion.
The celebration was attended by Major General Staff Ahmed Mohamed Ali, Head of the Office of the President of the Republic and Secretary of the Tahya Misr Fund, along with a number of ministers, governors, the deputy minister of housing for new urban communities, ambassadors, and success partners, as well as a large number of public figures and representatives of civil society organizations.
Eng. Randa El-Menshawy delivered a speech in which she affirmed that the “Tahya Misr Fund” is a national entity launched with the vision and support of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic. Over the years, it has become an outstanding model of integration between the efforts of the state and society, translating the values of participation, national responsibility, and social solidarity into reality.
She noted that since its establishment, the Fund has played a pivotal role in supporting the state’s efforts to implement numerous projects and initiatives aimed at improving citizens’ living standards and providing them with a decent life, particularly the most vulnerable groups.
In this context, the minister noted that housing and urban development is one of the most important areas where state efforts intersect with the social role of the Tahya Misr Fund. Providing adequate housing, alongside upgrading existing homes, is not merely a response to a basic citizen need but also one of the most important pillars of human development and improving quality of life.
She pointed out that over the past years, the Egyptian state has adopted an integrated vision for urban development based on providing housing units for various segments of society.
Eng. Randa El-Menshawy explained that marking the 12th anniversary of the establishment of the Tahya Misr Fund is not only an occasion to highlight what has been achieved, but also an affirmation of the continued commitment to work and development, maximizing the impact of the projects and initiatives being implemented and expanding their scope to meet citizens’ needs and the requirements of the coming phase.
At the conclusion of her speech, the Minister of Housing extended her sincere congratulations to the Tahya Misr Fund, its leadership, management, and employees on the 12th anniversary of its establishment.
She expressed her confidence that the coming years will witness further achievements and initiatives that reflect the spirit of participation and national responsibility, emphasizing that “Tahya Misr” is not merely the name of a fund but rather a national will and collective effort to build a better future for all Egyptians.
