Egypt’s Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, visited the Central Business District (CBD) in the New Administrative Capital to inspect the project’s progress. He was accompanied by Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, several ministry officials, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Chinese company executing the project.
At the beginning of his tour, the Prime Minister highlighted Egypt’s unprecedented urban achievements in recent years, particularly in fourth-generation cities, including the New Administrative Capital. He emphasized that these massive projects aim to maximize their benefits, including developing high-quality and diverse residential units.
The Central Business District is one of the most prominent areas of the New Administrative Capital, featuring multiple skyscrapers, including the Iconic Tower, the tallest building in Africa. Due to its strategic location, Dr. Madbouly stressed the importance of closely monitoring the project’s progress to ensure its timely completion while adhering to the highest quality standards and specified designs.
During his visit, the Prime Minister inspected the 20th floor of the residential tower D03, where he reviewed housing units and enjoyed a panoramic view of the Green River from the balcony. He then visited the central service station, generator buildings, and cooling facilities. Later, he toured the Iconic Tower, ascending to the 47th floor to examine a model hotel apartment and an observation point offering a view of the commercial district.
After the visit, Dr. Madbouly emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to complete the remaining work with high quality and within the set deadlines.
