Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly followed up on the implementation of the “Dara” project for the development of governorate capitals and major cities and inspected one of the project sites in the Agricultural Research area, accompanied by officials from the Engineering Authority and the Urban Development Fund.
Madbouly highlighted the importance of the project as part of the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative, which aims to establish 500,000 housing units of various categories to improve the quality of life for citizens.
He also clarified that the projects in Qalyubia include 5 locations comprising 281 buildings with a total of approximately 16,000 housing units designated for social, middle-income, and investment housing. He affirmed the commitment to the set timetable to complete them by the end of the year.
At the end of the tour, he praised the quality of the finishing works and the overall layout of the site and instructed an increase in green areas and the provision of parking spaces to serve the residents.
