The Official Gazette announced the issuance of Presidential Decree No. 556 of 2025 by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which includes the allocation of a land plot covering approximately 343.95 feddans, equivalent to 1,444,863 square meters, from the state’s private property located in New Borg El Arab City in Alexandria Governorate.
According to the attached plan and schedule, this land has been allocated in favor of the General Authority for Industrial Development to be used for industrial activities, after being transferred from the lands previously allocated to the New Urban Communities Authority.
The second article of the decree published in the Official Gazette clarified that the provisions of this decision do not affect any previous dispositions made by concerned state entities, and do not impact any existing legal positions or ownership rights over any part of the allocated land.
