President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that President El-Sisi closely followed the developments of the educational process in conjunction with the start of the new academic year.
The year recorded a remarkable student attendance rate of about 87.5% of the total number of students. The meeting also highlighted ongoing efforts to reduce classroom density and address the shortage of teachers.
President El-Sisi stressed the importance of continuing to support and care for teachers. He directed the allocation of a teaching incentive worth EGP 1,000, starting from November 2025. He further emphasized the need to improve teachers’ economic conditions and to place this objective among the top priorities of the state in the coming phase.
