Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, departed Cairo International Airport in the early hours of today, heading to New York City in the United States of America. He is representing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in leading Egypt’s delegation participating in the Two-State Solution Conference and the opening of the high-level segment of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, held under the theme “Better Together: 80 Years and Beyond for Peace, Development, and Human Rights.”

The Prime Minister’s agenda during his visit to New York includes participation in the opening session of the high-level meetings of the UN General Assembly, in addition to delivering Egypt’s statements at both the special meeting marking the 30th anniversary of the World Conference on Women and the high-level international conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution.
His schedule also includes attending a number of important meetings and events on the sidelines of the conference, as well as holding bilateral meetings with leaders of brotherly and friendly countries and representatives of regional and international organizations to strengthen relations and discuss key issues of common interest.
