Officials Inspect Housing Projects in Badr City

Eng. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Amer, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, and Eng. Mohamed Hamdy, Head of the Central Construction Administration at the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), conducted an inspection tour of several residential projects in Badr City. They were accompanied by officials from the authority.

Key Projects Inspected

During the visit, the officials reviewed the progress of various housing projects, including the distinctive housing units, medium-income housing, and the third phase of the residential project for state employees in Badr City.

  • Distinctive Housing Project: This project comprises 92 buildings with a total of 2,208 residential units. The construction progress has reached 92%, with an expected completion date of December 30, 2024.
  • State Employees Housing: The third phase includes 295 buildings with 7,080 residential units.
  • Medium-Income Housing Project: Consisting of 44 buildings with 1,056 units, this project has achieved 66% of its construction progress.

Coordination Meeting

A coordination meeting was held during the visit to discuss the execution status of ongoing projects and the status of services. The meeting also addressed the financial obligations owed to the companies involved in these projects.

The officials emphasized the need for contractors to expedite work and complete projects with high efficiency and quality. They stressed the importance of adhering to the project timeline, improving performance rates, and increasing the number of equipment and workers to ensure timely delivery of the projects.
