Engineer Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Razek, Head of the Hadayek El Ashar City Authority under the New Urban Communities Authority, welcomed Engineer Mohamed Zoheir, Assistant to the Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for the Development and Construction Sector, during a field visit held today to review the progress of ongoing housing projects in Hadayek El Ashar City.

The inspection tour covered the Green Housing Project within the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative, specifically phases five, six, and seven. The visit was conducted in line with the directives of Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, which stress the importance of continuous on-site monitoring of housing and urban development projects and the need to accelerate implementation rates in national developments.

New Urban Communities Authority Development Sector Reviews Infrastructure and Finishing Progress

During the visit, officials from the New Urban Communities Authority reviewed the workflow across different sections of the project to evaluate actual completion rates for all ongoing activities.

The works inspected included infrastructure development, construction of residential buildings, internal and external finishing works, as well as site coordination activities such as pavement works, curb installations, and interlock paving throughout the project area.

The tour was attended by the project consultant, representatives of the executing companies, the deputy head of the city authority, and directors of the concerned departments.

Officials highlighted the importance of adhering to the scheduled timeline while maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency during all phases of implementation, in accordance with the state’s vision of establishing integrated and sustainable urban communities that meet citizens’ needs.

Zoheir Highlights the Need to Accelerate Work Across All Phases

Engineer Mohamed Zoheir, Assistant to the Vice President of the Authority for the Development and Construction Sector, underscored the importance of regular field follow-ups as a key mechanism for evaluating performance and increasing implementation rates. He commended the scale of work currently underway and the visible progress achieved at the project sites.

Meanwhile, Engineer Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Razek stated that the city authority continues to intensify daily monitoring efforts for all ongoing projects while working to resolve any challenges facing executing companies in order to maintain targeted performance levels and ensure full discipline across work sites.

Abdel Razek Calls for Increased Workforce and Higher Operating Rates

The head of the city authority also instructed executing companies to increase workforce numbers and raise operating rates during the current stage, while fully complying with approved technical specifications and completing all works within the designated timelines. He noted that these measures would help accelerate the delivery of housing units at standards that satisfy citizens’ expectations.

These inspection tours and field follow-ups are part of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities’ broader strategy to speed up implementation rates for housing and development projects while achieving the highest quality standards in national developments, supporting the state’s efforts to provide a decent quality of life and modern, sustainable urban communities for citizens.
