The Official Gazette published today the decision issued by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities No. 23 of 2026 concerning the approval of the detailed plan for Neighborhood No. (3) within District (8), spanning 65.50 feddans in the Al Qadisiyah area of New Obour City.

The approval is based on the activities, planning standards, and building requirements outlined in the map attached to the decision, which forms an integral and complementary part of it.

Decision Details

The text of Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Decision No. 23 of 2026 stated that the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, after reviewing Law No. 59 of 1979 on the establishment of new urban communities; Law No. 43 of 1979 issuing the Local Administration System along with its executive regulations and amendments; Law No. 143 of 1981 concerning desert lands and its amendments; Law No. 7 of 1991 regarding certain provisions related to the state’s private property and its amendments; the Environment Law issued under Law No. 4 of 1994 and its amendments; the Building Law issued under Law No. 119 of 2008 together with its executive regulations and amendments;

Presidential Decree No. 249 of 2016 establishing New Obour City under the New Urban Communities Authority; Presidential Decree No. 258 of 2024 concerning the formation of the Cabinet; Ministerial Decree No. 1005 of 2017 approving the strategic master plan for New Obour City; and based on the submitted proposal, decided the following:

Article One

The detailed plan for Neighborhood No. (3) in District (8), with a total area of 65.50 feddans in the Al Qadisiyah area of New Obour City, has been approved in accordance with the activities, planning criteria, and building requirements shown in the map attached to the decision, which is regarded as an integral and supplementary part of this decision.

Article Two

This decision shall be published in the Egyptian Gazette and will come into force on the day following its publication date. Issued on 1/1/2026.
