Eng. Yasser Abdel Halim, Head of the October Gardens City Development Authority, conducted an inspection tour of the Narges (1) and Narges (2) districts to assess the level of services provided to residents and review the overall condition of the areas. The tour included an inspection of the Al-Azhar Institute located in the Narges district.
During the visit, the City Authority Head reviewed the institute’s overall condition and level of readiness, emphasizing the importance of providing a suitable educational environment that serves the area’s students.
He also inspected the local ambulance station to ensure its operational readiness and the availability of the necessary resources to provide emergency medical services and respond quickly to urgent cases, reinforcing the quality of services offered to residents.
The tour also covered sanitation, landscaping, street lighting, and the maintenance of utilities and roads. Eng. Yasser Abdel Halim instructed the relevant departments to promptly address the observations recorded during the inspection and take the necessary measures to improve service quality and efficiency in line with residents’ needs.
The City Authority officials continued their tour by inspecting the site where landscaping works are being completed at the city entrance along the Middle Ring Road, reviewing implementation progress and adherence to the scheduled timeline for planting and greening the area.
Eng. Yasser Abdel Halim stressed the importance of continuous field presence and monitoring performance across all service sectors, emphasizing the need for immediate response to residents’ complaints and requests while working to provide the highest level of services to ensure citizen satisfaction and preserve the city’s urban appearance.
He explained that these inspection tours are part of the City Authority’s ongoing plan for regular monitoring of various neighborhoods and residential areas, ensuring the efficiency of services provided while continuing to develop and improve them on a sustainable basis.
He concluded by emphasizing the importance of maintaining daily follow-up activities and closely monitoring the progress of ongoing projects and development works, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Housing.
