Engineer Tamer Gabr, Head of the Obour City Development Authority, conducted an extensive inspection tour to monitor the regularity of cleaning, maintenance, and infrastructure efficiency works across several areas of the city.

The visit comes as part of his daily field inspections aimed at monitoring on-site performance, preserving the city’s civilized appearance, and ensuring the continuous improvement of services provided to residents through ongoing field supervision.

The tour began in the Youth District, where the authority head reviewed general cleaning operations, waste removal, and street sweeping activities. He also inspected the maintenance of green spaces and central islands, checked the efficiency of the irrigation system, and emphasized the importance of preserving the aesthetic appearance of residential neighborhoods while continuously improving service quality.

The inspection also included visits to the 70-Meter Youth Housing and 100-Meter Youth Housing areas, where Engineer Gabr reviewed routine maintenance works and inspected the condition of lighting poles and electrical networks to ensure their readiness and operational efficiency.

He also monitored the overall cleanliness of the areas, as well as the maintenance of sidewalks and open spaces surrounding residential buildings, directing officials to address any observations identified during the inspection without delay. During the tour, the authority head met with several residents of the inspected areas and listened to their opinions and suggestions regarding the level of services provided.

He instructed the relevant departments to promptly review all feedback and respond immediately to residents’ concerns, contributing to improving the quality of life and meeting citizens’ needs. Engineer Tamer Gabr stressed that daily field inspections are a key approach to monitoring all service sectors across the city.

He reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to intensifying cleaning and maintenance works, upgrading green spaces and public lighting, and maintaining the highest standards of performance while preserving the urban appearance of Obour City, in line with the directives of the New Urban Communities Authority to provide distinguished services to citizens.
