Dr. Ahmed Emara, Assistant Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, visited the Shorouk City Authority to follow up on land regularization efforts, review ongoing files, and assess progress rates in newly added areas such as Al-Rabia, Al-Salam, Tayiba, and the northern zone. The visit comes in preparation for presenting the final development plans to the Planning Sector for approval.
Emara affirmed that land regularization is one of the Authority’s top priorities, noting the accelerated pace of studying and reviewing files to ensure the highest levels of progress. He highlighted that Housing Minister Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny considers regularization a fundamental pillar in achieving proper state land management, stressing the importance of resolving related files swiftly and decisively while safeguarding the rights of both citizens and the state without leniency or exceptions.
Emara also emphasized full adherence to regulatory frameworks, expediting file review, and preventing any backlog to ensure sound management of state assets and the achievement of development goals. He further reviewed the status of land plots that have shown no serious progress in implementation, stressing that allocations will be canceled immediately once the designated execution period expires, with regulations applied strictly and without exception to protect public funds and support development plans.
For his part, Eng. Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of the Shorouk City Authority, stated that the authority is working at full capacity to implement NUCA’s directives through an intensive work plan that includes extended daily working hours to ensure both speed and accuracy in completing regularization files.
