New Sohag City Offers 12 Commercial Shops for Public Auction

The New Sohag City Development Authority has announced the sale of 12 commercial shops through a public auction. The shops range in size from 10 to 21 square meters and are located in neighborhoods 3, 8, and 36 within the 735-acre and 455-acre areas of the city.

Auction bid documents are available at the Authority’s headquarters for a fee of EGP 299 per shop. The auction is scheduled to take place at noon on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Authority’s premises. Bidders must pay a deposit of EGP 50,000 for each shop, no later than the auction date.

The winning bidder is required to pay 10% of the total sale value, along with 1% administrative fees, 5% for the Trustees’ Council, and a 5% maintenance deposit within one month before taking possession. The remaining balance can be paid through flexible installment plans.

This auction is part of the city’s efforts to enhance commercial activities and provide investment opportunities within its rapidly developing areas.
