Eng. Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, has announced the commencement of the “Diarna” middle-income housing project in response to the directives of the political leadership aimed at providing suitable housing and improving the quality of life for citizens.
This project is being implemented under Eng’s instructions. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities, with close supervision from the relevant authorities to ensure the highest quality and urban planning standards.
Eng. Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud confirmed that the project is being carried out according to a specific timeline to accelerate completion and meet the increasing demand for residential units. He also highlighted that the city is experiencing a significant urban development boom as part of the state’s vision for urban expansion and the establishment of fully serviced residential communities.
For his part, Eng. Mahmoud Murad, Deputy Head of the Authority, explained that the project includes 19 residential buildings, each consisting of a ground floor, five upper floors, and a penthouse, totaling 494 residential units. The project is being executed using the latest construction systems and modern designs, with a strong focus on all technical details to ensure the delivery of fully finished units connected to essential utilities. Additionally, the site will be landscaped, and vital services will be provided to create a fully integrated residential environment that meets the requirements of citizens.
