Engineer Mahmoud Morad, Chairman of the New Obour City Development Authority, convened a comprehensive meeting this morning with the technical teams responsible for land regularization files, representatives from the Legal Affairs Department, and directors of the technological centers.
The meeting focused on reviewing the current implementation status and ongoing procedures related to the preparation of four public draws for land regularization plots scheduled to take place throughout June. It also aimed to confirm the readiness of all relevant departments to complete their responsibilities within the designated timeframe.
During the session, the authority’s chairman examined the latest progress rates and assessed the technical, legal, and administrative measures that have been completed regarding regularization applications.
He also monitored the status of files currently in their final stages to ensure their inclusion in the upcoming public draws, emphasizing the importance of maintaining smooth operations and expediting all necessary procedures.
The discussion further addressed key challenges and obstacles that may impact workflow and completion rates. Engineer Mahmoud Morad instructed all concerned departments to enhance coordination and cooperation while actively resolving any issues facing work teams, ensuring that the targeted files are finalized according to the approved schedule without unnecessary delays.
The chairman stressed the need to intensify efforts over the coming weeks and complete all files planned for finalization before June 30. Engineer Mahmoud Morad explained that these follow-up efforts are being carried out in accordance with the directives of Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, which call for accelerating the completion of priority files, enhancing service quality for citizens, and improving operational efficiency across new city authorities.
He also affirmed that the New Obour City Development Authority remains committed to advancing work systems and service delivery while increasing completion rates across various strategic files through ongoing monitoring and effective coordination among departments.
