The New Cairo Development Authority carried out the immediate removal of a building violation on plot number 48 in Lotus 2. The property owner had erected columns on the roof of the property without obtaining the necessary permits.

The removal was executed in the presence of officials from the Development, Security, and Hygiene departments of the Fifth Settlement, alongside the Head of the Lotus District. This action is part of a series of campaigns implemented by the Authority aimed at swiftly addressing any violations or encroachments, in order to preserve the distinctive urban character of New Cairo.

The Head of the Authority indicated that the removal campaigns will continue daily to control violations from their inception. This is in implementation of the directives from the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities towards achieving greater discipline and organization within the city.
