Eng. El-Sayed Hammam, Head of the New Borg El Arab City Authority, reported that approximately 3,000 square meters of encroachments were removed, including the demolition of a concrete building and a fence. The operation was carried out in coordination with the police forces.

In the same context, Eng. Hammam added that a campaign was conducted resulting in the removal of street vendors and unauthorized occupations in residential neighborhoods (First, Second, and Third Districts), as well as the elimination of encroachments on an area of 168 feddans. These included illegal agricultural activities and unlicensed buildings within the city boundaries.

The Head of the New Borg El Arab City Authority affirmed the continuous monitoring efforts to protect state-owned lands and prevent any future violations, emphasizing the importance of addressing infractions at their early stages to preserve the city’s civilized appearance.
