The New Beni Suef City Development Authority, led by Engineer Ahmed Abdel Gaber Abdallah, has continued its intensive campaigns aimed at removing building violations and addressing any construction work carried out in violation of building codes and applicable laws.

These efforts are being implemented in coordination with the New Beni Suef City Development Police Department, as well as the authority’s security and neighborhood administrations, as part of the state’s strategy to maintain the city’s civilized appearance and prevent informal urban expansion within new cities.

Authority Affirms Ongoing Removal of Encroachments and Illegal Constructions

The head of the New Beni Suef City Authority stated that the campaigns recently resulted in the immediate removal of a building violation on a plot of land in the Second Neighborhood of the First Residential District in New Beni Suef City.

It was discovered that a violator had erected structures above the roof of the property without obtaining the necessary permits, in breach of the approved building regulations for the area.

Engineer Ahmed Abdel Gaber Abdallah reiterated that the authority deals decisively with all building violations, emphasizing that there is zero tolerance for any encroachments or unauthorized construction. He noted that these measures are implemented to enforce the law and preserve the city’s urban identity and state authority.

He further added that removal campaigns are ongoing on a daily basis to monitor and immediately address any illegal construction activities, stressing that obtaining official permits and complying with building regulations are essential to maintaining proper urban planning within new cities.

He also highlighted that the New Beni Suef City Authority is working in full coordination with security agencies and relevant departments to ensure the swift execution of removal decisions and to prevent the recurrence of violations. He reaffirmed that the state will not allow any attempts at informal construction or breaches of building laws.

These actions are carried out in line with the directives of Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, as well as the instructions of Engineer Ammar Mandour, Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for the Development and Construction Sector, regarding the elimination of all building violations in new cities and the prevention of any construction without the required legal permits, in accordance with the approved regulations for each area.

The head of the authority also stressed the importance of citizens adhering to building regulations to avoid legal accountability, noting that preserving the civilized appearance of the city is a shared responsibility between the authority and residents. He added that this cooperation supports ongoing urban development efforts and helps ensure a safe and well-organized living environment for all residents.
