Ministry of Housing Unveils Details of the First Phase of “Your Home in Egypt” Initiative for Egyptians Abroad

The Ministry of Housing, through the New Urban Communities Authority, has announced the launch of the first phase of the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative for Egyptians working abroad. This phase includes 5,055 residential units across 13 projects in 9 new cities. Applications for these units can be submitted electronically through the official website to reserve units for Egyptians abroad.

Online Platform for Reserving Units in “Your Home in Egypt”

The Arabesque Project in Cairo offers residential units ranging from 125 to 179 square meters. It is the first gated urban community in the Maghrabi Aqueduct area, which features Islamic heritage buildings and historical landmarks from the Tulunid and Fatimid eras.

In New Alamein City, the Latin District Project provides units ranging from 95 to 250 square meters. This development covers approximately 400 acres and comprises six zones with 65 residential complexes featuring 207 buildings and 10,597 residential units.

Details on Booking Residential Units for Egyptians Abroad in “Your Home in Egypt”

The Saba Project, on the 6th of October, offers residential units ranging from 95 to 141 square meters. Located in the Saba Residence Compound, this project includes 85 buildings with 2,040 residential units spread across three sales phases. The compound spans 69 acres, featuring four service areas, green spaces, and a dedicated children’s play area. The buildings consist of a ground floor plus five additional floors with elevators.

Additional residential projects are available in the New Administrative Capital, including the Third Residential District (R3), with unit sizes starting from 114 square meters, and the Fifth Residential District (New Garden City), offering units ranging from 79 to 344 square meters. Other projects include Madinaty in New Cairo, with unit sizes from 96 to 178 square meters, and Valley Towers East in New Obour City, offering units between 89 and 116 square meters.

The initiative also features three more residential projects:

  • Valley Towers in Hadayek in October offers units between 95 and 101 square meters.
  • Bliss Gates in Sheikh Zayed, with unit sizes starting at 80 square meters and reaching 220 square meters.
  • Beachfront Towers in New Alamein provides 215 to 678 square meters of beachfront units.

Application Process for “Your Home in Egypt” Units for Egyptians Abroad

The Zahia Project in New Mansoura City features modern and classical villas with sizes ranging from 360 to 504 square meters. These luxury units come with high-end finishes. The Ministry of Housing has partnered with Banque Misr to facilitate secure electronic payments, ensuring seamless transactions for Egyptians living abroad. Payments can be made in US dollars, and the ministry provides additional facilities to ensure broad accessibility to this opportunity.

Through the New Urban Communities Authority, the ministry is also developing an advanced online platform to simplify real estate purchases for Egyptians abroad. The platform will provide detailed information on available projects, highlight key features, and offer virtual tours to help buyers make informed decisions. The sale and allocation of units will officially commence on February 15, 2025.
