Starting tomorrow, Sunday, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities will open reservations for its largest offering of ready-to-deliver housing units. The project includes 6,575 residential units, with 5% (330 units) allocated for citizens with special needs. The units will be available across 15 new cities, including New Cairo, New Alamein, New Mansoura, 6th of October, New October, Gardens of October, Badr, Al Obour, El Shorouk, 10th of Ramadan, Sadat City, New Minya, West Qena, Nasser (West Assiut), and New Damietta.
Expansion of Housing Offerings
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, confirmed that, under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), is expanding its housing offerings to meet the growing demand in new cities. This effort aims to drive development and fulfill the aspirations of citizens from various socioeconomic backgrounds, providing opportunities for home ownership and supporting urban growth.
Diverse Housing Projects
The minister highlighted that the available units vary between the “Sakan Misr,” “Dar Misr,” and “Janna” projects, as well as other distinguished housing options to cater to different preferences.
Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagy, Vice President of NUCA for Real Estate Affairs, explained that interested applicants, including individuals with disabilities and their legal guardians, can register through the “Masaken – Housing Units Axis” website at www.reserve.newcities.gov.e. Applicants can select their preferred city, project, and unit type (ground, middle, or top floor) and submit a deposit and processing fee using payment methods such as MasterCard, Fawry Plus, or bank transfer via the Housing and Development Bank.
Available Units
Dr. El-Shorbagy announced that the offering includes 409 “Janna” units (100m² to 150m²) and 700 “Sakan Misr” units (106m² to 133m²) in New Cairo, as well as 223 “Janna” units in 6th of October, and other units in New October, Gardens of October, and more. Additionally, 1,500 units are available in “Sixth District” apartments in Badr (90m² each), and several more in Al Obour, El Shorouk, 10th of Ramadan, Sadat City, and other cities.
Additional Offerings in New Cities
In New Damietta, 150 “Janna” units, 160 “Sakan Misr” units, and 83 “Distinguished Housing” units will be available, while New Mansoura will offer 890 units of “Distinguished Housing.” New Alamein will feature 600 “Sakan Misr” units (110m² to 133m²). The wide range of offerings ensures options for various residential preferences, with more units spread across the different cities.
