The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities began accepting applications on Monday, July 27, 2026, for the reservation of 2,898 small residential land plots under the “Maskan” program across 17 new cities nationwide. Applications will remain open until Thursday, September 10, 2026, through the program’s dedicated online portal.
The Ministry of Housing Land Reservation 2026 offering is part of the ministry’s ongoing strategy to provide a variety of residential land plots for citizens, offering multiple options that meet the needs of different income segments while expanding opportunities for homeownership in Egypt’s new cities.
Eng. Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, affirmed that the “Maskan” program has become one of the ministry’s key platforms for offering residential land. She noted that the electronic reservation system ensures greater transparency, fairness, and equal opportunities for all applicants.
Details of the Ministry of Housing Land Offering 2026 Under the “Maskan” Program
The new offering includes 2,898 residential land plots divided into two main categories:
- 2,263 medium-category plots
- 635 premium-category plots

635 Premium Residential Plots Available in Seven New Cities
The premium land category includes 635 plots distributed across seven new cities as follows:
- 4 plots in El Shorouk City
- 24 plots in Badr City
- 206 plots in New Obour City
- 1 plot in 15th of May City
- 100 plots in New Nasser City (West Assiut)
- 100 plots in New Tiba City
- 200 plots in New Qena City
According to the terms and conditions booklet, plot sizes reach up to 600 square meters.
Application Deadline and Online Reservation Link
Applications for the Ministry of Housing’s land offering under the “Maskan” program will remain open from July 27, 2026, until September 10, 2026. Registration, payment of required fees, and completion of all reservation procedures must be carried out electronically through the program’s official online platform.
The Ministry of Housing emphasized the importance of carefully reviewing the terms and conditions booklet before applying, adhering to the specified deadlines, and fulfilling all application requirements.
The ministry also noted that the offering includes 142 residential land plots allocated for persons with disabilities, including 111 plots within the medium-category land axis and 31 plots within the premium-category land axis, as part of its commitment to promoting equal opportunities and ensuring access to suitable housing for all citizens.
