Ministry of Housing Expands Offering of Investment Lands Across New Cities
The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities continues to expand the availability of investment land plots across various new cities, following the immediate allocation mechanism. In New Fayoum City, several plots are up for sale, including a 4,832-square-meter commercial-administrative plot priced at EGP 6,860 per square meter, a 4,203-square-meter commercial-residential plot at EGP 3,530, and a 1,016-square-meter commercial-administrative plot at EGP 6,725. Additionally, a 4,142-square-meter fuel station plot is available at EGP 3,290 per square meter.
Further offerings include a 4,700-square-meter educational plot for a school at EGP 3,885 per square meter, multiple artisanal workshop plots ranging from 314 to 658 square meters priced at EGP 1,590 per square meter, and a 6,271-square-meter tourist walkway available for lease at EGP 138 per square meter.
In New Obour City, plots include an 8,055-square-meter commercial-administrative plot priced at EGP 23,802 per square meter, and an 11,332-square-meter commercial plot priced at EGP 25,215. Other offerings include a 1,876-square-meter medical plot at EGP 9,780 per square meter, and a 32,270-square-meter comprehensive urban plot at EGP 2,695 per square meter.
The ministry is actively diversifying its land offerings to cater to various development activities, from commercial and industrial to residential and educational. The Urban Communities Authority is facilitating these investments to meet developer demands and support the ongoing development of new cities. The ministry is also expanding land offerings through public-private partnerships, particularly targeting Egyptians abroad to boost real estate investment and accelerate urban development.
