The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has announced the figures and key indicators reflecting demand for its partnership program with real estate developers to implement the presidential initiative, “Housing for All Egyptians,” for low-income citizens. The projects will be developed across eight new cities, including New Obour, 10th of Ramadan, New October, New Sohag, Capital Gardens, Sadat City, and New Assiut.
The Ministry of Housing received 137 applications to reserve land plots. The ministry offered 17 land plots for implementing the presidential initiative for low-income housing. The housing projects will be delivered within 36 months, with all residential units fully finished. The offered land plots witnessed strong competition among multiple real estate developers.
Competition Among Developers Across the Eight Cities
- New Obour City: 28 developers applied to implement the project in the southern part of District 14, District 25, and Plots 14 and 15.
- Hadayek October City: 34 developers competed to implement projects on Plots 4, 5, and 6.
- Capital Gardens City: 28 companies submitted applications.
- Sadat City: 12 developers competed to implement projects in the Nargis and Al-Zohour areas.
- 10th of Ramadan City: 12 developers applied to implement projects in Districts 14 and 15.
- New October City: 7 developers competed to implement projects south of Al Wahat Road.
- Capital Gardens City (Plots 8 and 9): 17 developers competed to implement the project.
- New Assiut City: 2 developers competed to implement the project in the 20-Feddan area.
- New Sohag City: 1 developer applied to implement the project in the Assiut–Sohag area.
Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the closure of applications and the sale of the terms and conditions booklet for the residential housing project being implemented in partnership with private-sector real estate developers under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.”
The minister explained that the offering witnessed strong demand from real estate developers, with 137 applications submitted to reserve the 17 land plots included in the announcement.
