On Friday, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Eng. Sherif El-Sharbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Nady Club in the New Administrative Capital, along with Mohamed Gebran, Minister of Labor, conducted an inspection tour inside Al Nady Club in the New Administrative Capital, ahead of its highly anticipated official opening. This visit comes as part of the on-ground follow-up of the most prominent sports and social projects being implemented under the state’s plan to develop sports infrastructure in the new cities.
During the tour, the ministers reviewed the final stages of the club’s preparations and listened to a detailed explanation of its components, which include a fully integrated set of playgrounds and sports halls, in addition to social and recreational areas. All facilities have been designed according to the latest international standards to provide a comprehensive experience for club members and visitors.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi confirmed that Al Nady Club in the New Administrative Capital comes as part of the “Al Nady” series of clubs implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing. He explained that the project reflects the state’s vision to apply an integrated model of modern clubs within new cities, aiming to promote sports awareness and create an advanced environment that meets the sports and social needs of Egyptian families.
For his part, Eng. Sherif El-Sharbini pointed out that this club represents a qualitative addition to the service infrastructure within the New Administrative Capital. He emphasized that the Ministry of Housing is working to ensure the integration of services in modern cities, including clubs and sports centers, due to their important role in improving the quality of life for citizens.
Mohamed Gebran, Minister of Labor, expressed his appreciation for the high level of implementation and equipment he witnessed, praising the state’s clear commitment to investing in human capital by supporting sports activities that enhance youth skills and instill values of discipline and teamwork.
At the end of the tour, the ministers stressed that Al Nady Club in the New Administrative Capital stands as a successful model of effective cooperation between ministries to achieve sustainable development goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030. They also pointed to the major developments taking place in the youth and sports sector in terms of facilities and infrastructure.
