Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, received Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Enterprise Sector, in the New Administrative Capital, where two meetings were held to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two ministries. El-Sherbiny emphasized the importance of coordination between ministries to ensure optimal resource utilization and to promote comprehensive development in Egypt. Engineer Mohamed Shimi praised the ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, highlighting that the companies affiliated with the Ministry of Public Enterprise Sector possess a diverse range of assets that offer promising opportunities for development and investment. The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the cooperation surrounding the development and utilization of several real estate and tourism assets owned by companies under the Ministry of Public Enterprise. They explored ways to maximize returns from these assets in line with the state’s urban development plan and its aim to stimulate investment in the real estate and tourism sectors.
In a separate meeting, the ministers reviewed the status of joint projects between entities and companies affiliated with both ministries, particularly in the fields of construction and infrastructure.
