We Are Currently Updating Urban Boundaries to Accommodate All Village Expansions

The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, announced the update of urban boundaries to accommodate expansions in neighboring villages during his visit to the drinking water station in Qanater Al-Khairiya. He emphasized that this update aims to streamline procedures and ease the burden on citizens regarding utility connections. He also highlighted the importance of the Egypt Real Estate Platform in achieving digital transformation in the real estate sector by providing a unique identification number for each housing unit. Additionally, he stressed the collaboration with governors to monitor the implementation of the first phase of the presidential initiative “Decent Life” for developing Egyptian villages.

The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities guided Obour City, where he inspected the Rawdat Al-Obour Housing Project and the city’s drinking water station. The Rawdat Al-Obour Housing Project includes 134 residential buildings located in the Al-Salam Thani district.

The minister also visited the drinking water purification station in Obour City, which has a capacity of up to one million cubic meters daily. He reviewed the ongoing expansion works, which are considered among the country’s most significant water stations.
