Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasized the importance of enhancing the urban appearance of 10th of Ramadan City, stressing the need to improve the quality of roads and main axes while ensuring regular maintenance of public utilities and green areas.
This came during his field tour in the city, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Housing, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the 10th of Ramadan City Authority. The tour coincided with a meeting held at the City Authority’s headquarters to review the progress of infrastructure and service projects currently under implementation.
As part of his inspection tour to monitor the advancement of various projects, the Minister visited several key roads and main axes within the city, including Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Axis, Ali Ibn Abi Taleb Axis, the city entrance from the Cairo–Ismailia Desert Road, and Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Road, in addition to the areas surrounding the Jordanian District. During the visits, he reviewed with city officials the current completion rates and ongoing developments at each site.

During the tour, El-Sherbiny directed the establishment of sufficient parking spaces in areas with high traffic density to help reduce congestion and improve traffic flow within the city. He also instructed that construction and maintenance waste be regularly cleared from work sites to preserve the city’s general appearance.
In another context, the Minister emphasized the importance of regular maintenance for green spaces and landscaping along roads and medians. He also called for a comprehensive review of unused lands located along major axes, with the aim of reoffering them for investment through the most efficient means possible.
The Minister further followed up on the progress of utility upgrades in the industrial zone of 10th of Ramadan City, highlighting the need for systematic replacement and renewal of infrastructure networks while improving road quality and lighting across production areas. He noted that these efforts will contribute to enhancing the work environment and supporting industrial activities.
El-Sherbiny affirmed that the Ministry attaches great importance to the periodic maintenance of infrastructure and public services to ensure the sustainability of facilities and the improvement of citizens’ and workers’ quality of life within the city.
