Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasized the political leadership’s interest in enhancing cooperation with Chinese companies and strengthening bilateral economic relations between the two countries. He highlighted the ongoing collaboration with major Chinese construction companies in executing national projects, notably the Central Business District project in the New Administrative Capital and the Downtown Towers project in New Alamein City, both implemented in cooperation with the Chinese company CSCEC.

This came at signing a strategic partnership agreement between an Egyptian company and the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), which aims to boost strategic exchange and transfer global expertise to the Egyptian market.
