Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the second public lottery for allocating land plots to citizens who have completed the procedures for regularizing their land status and paid the required down payments in New Sphinx City. The lottery will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the headquarters of the New Sphinx City Development Authority.
The New Sphinx City Authority explained that the lottery will include citizens whose land status has been regularized in accordance with the approved strategic master plan for the Second Sector, as well as customers in the Green Revolution Area under the master plan for the First Sector.
Allocation will be based on the approved land area categories in the plan, after deducting the percentage allocated for roads, and in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
The Authority added that citizens can review the application lists, land area categories, and public lottery schedules at the New Sphinx City Authority headquarters, located at Kilometer 55 on the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road.
It also noted that attendance registration on the day of the lottery will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the New Sphinx City Authority headquarters, with the doors closing at 12:00 p.m. Attendance at the lottery will only be permitted upon presentation of a valid national ID card or any official document verifying the participant’s identity.
