Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting today to review the status of several major projects overseen by the New Urban Communities Authority. Among these projects were the “Ahl Masr Walk” in Cairo and “The Zen,” a therapeutic and wellness tourism project in New Aswan.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of adhering to high standards in managing, operating, and maintaining these projects. He highlighted the need to ensure the longevity and quality of urban developments while maximizing the investments made in these endeavors.
The Minister also discussed the progress in preparing hotel facilities within several development projects, including those in Cairo, New Alamein City, and the New Administrative Capital. He directed the team to expedite the operation of hotel establishments in New Alamein and Marina Alamein to increase accommodation capacity in the North Coast and cater to the rising number of tourists.
El-Sherbiny reviewed the performance of City Edge Developments in marketing various residential, commercial, and entertainment projects undertaken by the Ministry of Housing through the New Urban Communities Authority.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdel Khalek Ibrahim, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs, Engineer Amin Ghoneim, Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority for City Development, and representatives from the ministry, City Edge Developments, and the minister’s technical office.
