Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, reviewed the implementation status of several residential projects in the cities of El Shorouk, 10th of Ramadan, Hadayek 10th of Ramadan, Hadayek October, and New Beni Suef. The projects include Sakan Misr, the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” and the Green Housing project, as well as the Dyarna and Zelal housing developments.
Minister Randa El Menshawy affirmed that the Ministry continuously and intensively monitors implementation rates across residential projects under construction in new cities as part of the state’s commitment to providing a wide range of housing units that meet the needs of different income groups. She stressed that these projects represent a key pillar of the state’s urban expansion strategy and sustainable development goals.
The minister emphasized the importance of continuous coordination between city development authorities and executing companies to ensure the swift resolution of any obstacles that could affect project progress, reflecting the state’s vision of establishing modern urban communities that provide integrated and safe residential environments for citizens.
She also directed all parties involved to fully comply with the approved technical and engineering specifications, maintain the highest quality standards, and adhere to the established project timelines to ensure the timely completion of projects and the delivery of housing units to beneficiaries according to the planned schedule.
The Minister of Housing received a report on the results of field inspection tours conducted by officials from the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) and city development agencies across several residential projects.
Engineer Ammar Mandour, Deputy Chairman of NUCA for Development and Construction, accompanied by several authority officials, inspected ongoing residential projects in El Shorouk City in the presence of Engineer Mohamed Ahmed Zakaria, Head of the El Shorouk City Development Authority, and other officials.
During the inspection tour in El Shorouk, officials reviewed the implementation status of nine residential buildings currently being completed under the Sakan Misr project. They also inspected finishing works in several housing units to ensure compliance with approved technical and engineering standards.
The visit included an inspection of the Zelal luxury housing project in the Geneva area of the eastern extension, one of the city’s flagship residential developments. The project is being developed on an area of 45 feddans and includes 60 residential buildings comprising a total of 1,560 housing units.
The report also highlighted the results of Engineer Ammar Mandour’s inspection tour in 10th of Ramadan City, where he reviewed the implementation status of residential projects and assessed construction progress across several housing and service developments. The tour was attended by Engineer Alaa Abdallah Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, along with officials from the authority and the city agency.
The tour included inspections of the Housing for All Egyptians presidential initiative for low-income housing in the Narges District, where officials reviewed the sixth phase, which includes 240 residential buildings with a total of 5,650 fully serviced housing units, each measuring 90 square meters, in addition to the seventh phase, which comprises 51 residential buildings with 1,224 housing units.
The inspection also covered the Dyarna project, which consists of 20 residential buildings providing 520 fully serviced housing units ranging in size from 110 to 131 square meters. In addition, officials reviewed the Green Housing project located in the Regional Services Area as part of the fifth phase of the Housing for All Egyptians initiative, which includes 90 residential buildings with a total of 1,842 fully serviced housing units.
In the same context, the report outlined the findings of an inspection tour conducted by Engineer Mohamed Hamdy, Assistant Deputy Chairman of NUCA for Development and Construction, and Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim, Head of the Hadayek October City Development Authority, across several residential developments in the city.
These included the 810 Buildings Project, where first-phase buildings were inspected to assess their readiness for delivery to beneficiaries. Officials also monitored works under the fifth phase of the Housing for All Egyptians initiative to ensure the completion of remaining construction activities, utility connections, and site development according to the approved schedule.
The tour also included follow-up on the sixth phase, during which officials emphasized the need to accelerate construction, compress implementation schedules, and address all observations to ensure housing units are delivered to eligible beneficiaries on time.
They also reviewed the implementation status of residential units under the Valera Gardens project in preparation for completing the delivery of fully serviced units to citizens according to the approved plans. In addition, they inspected the Dyarna project, which includes 118 residential buildings, stressing the importance of adhering to the highest quality standards and scheduled delivery deadlines.
The report further referred to an inspection tour conducted by Engineer Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Razek, Head of the Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, to monitor progress on the Green Housing project under the fifth phase of the Housing for All Egyptians presidential initiative.
The tour included inspections of internal and external finishing works, utility networks, roads, and landscape development, in addition to reviewing implementation rates across various project components. Officials stressed the importance of complying with approved technical specifications and implementation schedules to ensure high-quality execution and maximum efficiency.
The report also covered an inspection by Engineer Ahmed Abdel Gaber, Head of the New Beni Suef City Development Authority, accompanied by city officials, to review the implementation status of the Housing for All Egyptians project for low-income citizens and assess the latest construction progress.
The project includes 84 residential buildings comprising 2,016 housing units, with work continuing on reinforced concrete structures, masonry, and internal and external finishing in accordance with the approved construction timetable.
