Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, received a report on the implementation status of the “Diarna” housing project in the new cities of 10th of Ramadan, New Damietta, Hadayek October, and New Borg El Arab. The minister of housing affirmed that the “Diarna” project is one of the ministry’s key housing initiatives aimed at providing high-quality residential units that meet citizens’ housing needs.
She stressed the importance of full compliance with standard technical specifications, accelerating construction, finishing works, and utility infrastructure, while giving due attention to landscaping and service facilities to ensure the highest quality standards throughout the project.
In this context, Engineer Randa El Menshawy reviewed the implementation status of the “Diarna” project in New Damietta, which comprises 33 residential buildings. The report covered the ongoing finishing works and emphasized the need to expedite completion in line with the approved timelines, alongside the execution of utilities, infrastructure, the perimeter wall, and the commercial market, ensuring the project is ready for delivery on schedule.

The report also reviewed the implementation status of the “Diarna” project in New Borg El Arab, which includes 14 residential buildings in its first phase. Construction has reached advanced stages, with work continuing according to the approved implementation schedule. The minister also followed up on the implementation status of the “Diarna” project in Hadayek October, which consists of 118 residential buildings.
She stressed the importance of maintaining the highest quality standards and delivering the project in a distinguished urban setting while continuing field inspections to address any obstacles that could affect construction progress, ensuring completion and delivery according to the approved timeline.
The follow-up also included the “Diarna” project in 10th of Ramadan City, which comprises 20 residential buildings with a total of 520 housing units. In this regard, emphasis was placed on maintaining construction progress in line with the approved schedule while ensuring full compliance with all technical requirements and quality standards.
Engineer Randa El Menshawy directed project teams to intensify construction activities across all “Diarna” developments and expedite the completion of structural works, finishing, utilities, and site landscaping in preparation for handing over the housing units to beneficiaries on schedule. She also called for continuous monitoring of implementation progress to ensure all projects are completed in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
