Eng. Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, received Captain Hussein Labib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Sporting Club, accompanied by Eng. Hisham Nasr, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Hossam El Mandouh, Treasurer, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting was attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for Urban Communities, along with ministry officials.
At the beginning of the meeting, Eng. Randa El Menshawy welcomed the chairman of Zamalek SC and the board members, expressing her deep appreciation for the club as one of the oldest and most prestigious sports clubs in Egypt and Africa, with a long history of sporting and national achievements. She also praised the club’s members and loyal fan base.

Ministry of Housing Handles All Files in Accordance with the Law and Governing Regulations
The minister emphasized that the Ministry of Housing addresses all matters in accordance with the law and the governing regulations in a manner that serves the public interest while safeguarding the rights of all concerned parties.
She stressed that the Egyptian state, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, is committed to supporting major national institutions that represent significant sporting and social value.
For their part, Captain Hussein Labib and the board members expressed their appreciation to Eng. Randa El Menshawy for her efforts in supporting the club’s land file in Hadayek October City and for allocating a distinguished plot of land, which will help preserve the club’s rights and support its future development plans.
During the meeting, Captain Hussein Labib affirmed that the Ministry of Housing handled the matter with the highest level of professionalism while ensuring the implementation of the law and the protection of the rights of all parties, which contributed to resolving the issue positively in a manner that serves the public interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides affirmed the continuation of coordination between the Ministry of Housing and Zamalek SC. Eng. Randa El Menshawy wished the Board of Directors success in implementing its future plans to meet the aspirations of the club’s members and supporters.
