Engineer Randa El Menshawy, minister of housing, utilities, and urban communities, has issued 9 decisions aimed at removing encroachments and building violations in areas falling under the authority of the New Obour City Development Authority and the First Sector of the Northwestern Coast.

Ongoing Campaigns Against Building Violations and Encroachments

Engineer Randa El Menshawy stressed that new city authorities will continue their efforts to eliminate building violations and encroachments across cities and new urban communities.

She also emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous campaigns to combat informal activities and protect the urban landscape, noting that firm directives have been given to heads of city authorities to strictly address such violations.

The issued decisions covered the removal of building violations on several land plots in different districts of New Obour City. The violations involved unauthorized building construction as well as neglected and irregular agricultural activities carried out without licenses or legal approval.

In addition, the decisions addressed the removal of encroachments and construction violations on land plots situated north and south of the Alexandria–Matrouh Coastal Road.

These violations included the construction of block structures, reinforced concrete columns, and boundary walls, along with increasing the building ratio of a chalet in one of the tourist villages under the jurisdiction of the First Sector of the Northwestern Coast, all carried out without the necessary legal permits or official authorization.
