Minister of Housing Meets with Saudi-Egyptian Development Company to Discuss Marketing Progress

Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting on Monday with officials from the Saudi Egyptian Construction Company to review the company’s progress in marketing projects developed by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). This meeting is part of the minister’s regular engagements with marketing and real estate development firms to ensure the timely execution of marketing plans for NUCA projects.

During the meeting, the minister was briefed on the current status of the company’s marketing strategies for various residential, commercial, administrative, and entertainment projects under the Ministry of Housing and NUCA. He stressed the importance of adhering to the set timelines for these marketing plans and continuously monitoring and evaluating them to achieve the desired outcomes. The goal is to maximize the utilization of available units and increase financial returns.

In his statement, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny emphasized that the Ministry is committed to leveraging the investments made in residential and developmental projects across Egypt’s new cities. The aim is to increase occupancy rates in these cities, enhance revenues, and continue efforts to meet the housing and development needs of various segments of Egyptian society. These projects play a crucial role in the country’s urban development strategy, with part of their funding derived from the successful marketing of these ventures.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Vice President of NUCA for Planning and Projects, Dr. Abdelkhaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs, Eng. Ameen Ghoneim, Vice President of NUCA for Development, Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagy, Vice President of NUCA for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, and other officials from the authority and the Minister’s technical office.
