Minister of Housing Meets with Investors in 10th of Ramadan City to Discuss Development Plans

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with the President and members of the Investors Association in 10th of Ramadan City on Tuesday evening. The meeting aimed to listen to the investors’ requests and proposals to accelerate development in the city. The event was attended by Engineer Amin Ghoneim, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for Development and Urban Sector, Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagy, Vice President of the Authority for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, and other officials.

The Minister emphasized the crucial role of investor associations in the development of new cities, highlighting them as essential partners in these efforts. He affirmed the Egyptian state’s commitment, through the Ministry of Housing, to provide investment opportunities across various sectors. This is achieved through diverse mechanisms tailored to suit different categories of investors, thus enhancing the investment environment to stimulate growth in multiple sectors within new cities.

Minister El-Sherbiny reassured the investors that the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the city agencies are fully prepared to offer support to investor associations. He announced the formation of a committee led by the Vice President of the Authority for Development and Urban Sector. The committee includes the Presidents of Investor Associations in new cities or their representatives, heads of city agencies or their deputies, and relevant experts from the authority. The committee’s primary goal is to collaborate on solving issues and ensuring the sustainability of development in these cities.

During the meeting, the minister listened to the inputs and proposals of the President and members of the Investors Association in 10th of Ramadan City. The association members expressed their gratitude to Minister El-Sherbiny for engaging with them and considering their requests.
