Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, met with the Chairman and members of the Investors’ Association in the 10th of Ramadan City on Tuesday evening. The meeting aimed to discuss the requests and suggestions of the investors to accelerate development in the city. Attendees included Engineer Amin Ghoneim, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for Development and City Development, Dr. Hassan El-Shourbagy, Deputy Chairman for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, and other authority officials.
The Minister emphasized the importance of enhancing the role of investors’ associations in the new cities, acknowledging them as key partners in their development. He reiterated the Egyptian government’s commitment, represented by the Ministry of Housing, to provide investment opportunities across various sectors through multiple mechanisms tailored to different investor segments. This initiative aims to foster a favorable investment environment and drive development in new cities.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny also highlighted that the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the city administrations are ready to support the investors’ associations. To facilitate this, a committee has been established, headed by the Deputy Chairman for Development and City Development, with members including heads of the investors’ associations in new cities or their representatives, city officials, and specialists from the authority. This committee will collaborate to resolve issues and ensure sustainable development in the new cities.
During the meeting, the Minister listened to the inputs from the Chairman and members of the 10th of Ramadan City’s Investors’ Association. They expressed their gratitude to Minister El-Sherbiny for his engagement and willingness to address their concerns.
