Minister of Housing: Land Handover for Beit El Watan in New Obour Begins on June 22

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the start of the handover process for 136 premium residential land plots located in District 39, formerly known as the 2,600-acre zone. These plots are part of the eighth supplementary phase of the Beit El Watan project, specifically allocated for Egyptians working abroad, in New Obour City. The handover will commence on Sunday, June 22, 2025, and continue until Tuesday, August 5, 2025, as per the schedule released by the New Obour City Development Authority.

The Minister emphasized the importance of facilitating the handover process for beneficiaries and organizing it efficiently to avoid any issues. He also highlighted the need to review infrastructure work—such as water and sanitation systems—at the designated land delivery sites to ensure everything is in order.

Dr. Engineer Ahmed Ismail, Head of the New Obour City Development Authority, announced the specific handover schedule for the plots. The plots, numbered from 1 to 6, will be handed over on specified dates between June 22 and July 2, 2025. These include various plots located across different blocks within the project area.
