The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, issued 8 demolition orders to remove encroachments and building violations in areas under the jurisdiction of the Sadat City Development Authority, the Hadayek October Development Authority, and the First Sector of the Northwestern North Coast.
He affirmed the ministry’s ongoing efforts to eliminate violations and encroachments in new cities, conduct campaigns to prevent informal settlements, and preserve the urban character, while holding heads of city authorities accountable for their responsibilities.
The decisions included the removal of encroachments in Sadat City such as a metal canopy, unlicensed buildings, caravans, and concrete columns. They also covered the demolition of an unauthorized construction within the “Build Your House” project in Hadayek October, as well as the removal of a violation involving the illegal construction of a fence on a tourist village site within the boundaries of the First Sector of the Northwestern North Coast.
