Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the issuance of 12 decisions to remove encroachments and construction violations in areas under the jurisdiction of the New Beni Mazar Development Authority, as well as the first and second sectors of the Northwestern North Coast, in addition to the tourist villages.
These decisions come within the ministry’s continued efforts to combat building violations and preserve the architectural identity of the new cities while ensuring the protection of state-owned lands from any form of trespassing.
The minister emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous efforts by the Housing Ministry’s agencies to remove encroachments and building violations within new urban cities and communities. He stressed the execution of regular campaigns aimed at preventing architectural chaos and preserving the civilized appearance of these areas.

He also pointed out that clear instructions have been issued to heads and officials of the city authorities to carry out these tasks, which are considered among their core responsibilities.
One of the decisions included the removal of construction violations on plots of land under the jurisdiction of the Tourist Villages Development Authority in the desert hinterland of Marina El Alamein area. These violations involved multiple cases such as the construction of walls, buildings, and the casting of concrete roofs without obtaining the necessary legal permits.
The decisions also included the removal of encroachments and building violations located within the boundaries of lands belonging to the New Beni Mazar Development Authority, the first and second sectors of the Northwestern North Coast, and the tourist villages. This reflects the ministry’s commitment to confronting any attempts to breach or undermine the regulations governing construction.
