Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted a thorough inspection of the “Mzarine” compound in New Alamein City. Accompanied by Eng. Amin Ghoneim, Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority for Development and Urban Projects, Eng. Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the New Alamein City Authority, and other officials from the Authority and the Minister’s technical office, the Minister assessed various aspects of the project.

During the visit, El Sherbini and his team toured the Boulevard Road, a major thoroughfare running through the Mzarine compound. They examined the progress of residential, commercial, and administrative building construction along the road. The Minister expressed concerns about the timely completion of facade finishing and instructed that the works on building facades facing the road be expedited. He also emphasized the need to create shaded seating areas along the road.

El Sherbini directed an acceleration of work on the residential units, villas, utilities, roads, and site landscaping within the Mzarine compound. He ordered that contracts be withdrawn from underperforming companies and redistributed to more reliable firms to enhance project progress and meet deadlines. The minister underscored the importance of adhering strictly to the scheduled completion dates and warned against any delays.

Furthermore, El Sherbini instructed the New Urban Communities Authority and the New Alamein City Authority to establish weekly targets for the Mzarine compound. He stressed that noticeable progress must be made every week, and it is unacceptable to maintain the status quo without visible improvements.
