Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with representatives of “Andalusia Medical Group” to explore potential areas of cooperation in the development and operation of integrated healthcare projects in new cities.

The meeting was held as part of the state’s efforts to strengthen healthcare services and enhance citizens’ quality of life, and was attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for Urban Communities, in addition to several ministry officials.

At the start of the meeting, Engineer Randa El Menshawy stressed the ministry’s keenness to support investments in the healthcare sector and to allocate the necessary land for establishing modern medical facilities in new cities, in coordination with the concerned authorities.

She explained that this direction helps meet the growing current and future needs of the population, noting that the ministry is implementing a comprehensive vision focused on providing essential services, particularly healthcare services.

Engineer Randa El Menshawy also pointed out that there are strong opportunities for collaboration with leading medical institutions to establish hospitals and specialized healthcare centers according to the latest international standards, which would strengthen the appeal of new cities and support sustainable development goals.

Meanwhile, officials from “Andalusia Medical Group” presented an overview of the group’s experience in the management and operation of hospitals and medical centers. They also reviewed the progress of a hospital project currently being implemented in 6th of October City, emphasizing their interest in expanding across new cities through integrated healthcare projects that deliver high-quality medical services.

The discussions further covered several proposals concerning the establishment of medical projects in a number of new cities, in addition to implementation frameworks aimed at ensuring the swift launch of these projects and maximizing their benefits.

At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to maintain coordination and continue consultations while examining available investment opportunities ahead of taking the required executive measures to launch medical projects that would help enhance the quality of healthcare services offered to citizens.
