Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with Engineer Khaled Siddiq, Head of the Urban Development Fund, to discuss the operation phase of the Fustat Hills Gardens Project in Old Cairo, which spans an area of 500 feddans. The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Urban Development Fund.
The minister emphasized the importance of the operation phase as construction works near completion, highlighting the need to ensure maximum benefit from the project and safeguard investments. This comes in line with the directives of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly during his recent visit to the project site.
Engineer Khaled Siddiq reviewed the efforts made and proposed operation mechanisms, noting the interest of several specialized companies in taking on the operational role. He outlined key requirements needed to support operators, and the minister instructed that these needs must be fulfilled to guarantee the project’s delivery at the highest quality standards.
The minister concluded the meeting by stressing the urgency of launching the operational phase of Fustat Hills Gardens and ensuring all operator requirements are met to provide the best possible services to visitors once the park officially opens.
It is worth mentioning that Fustat Hills Gardens will be one of the largest parks in the Middle East, distinguished by its celebration of Egyptian heritage across different eras.
