Minister of Housing Highlights Governance in Land and Investment Opportunities Allocation

The Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, has reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to streamlining and governing procedures for offering lands and investment opportunities of various types in new cities. He emphasized the ministry’s focus on making residential units and plots available to citizens across different categories.

Accelerating Urban Development

Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny noted that the ministry has intensified efforts to offer more land and housing units in new cities. This strategy aligns with the objectives of fostering comprehensive urban development, expediting growth, and increasing occupancy rates in these cities.

A particular emphasis has been placed on ensuring that housing units under the presidential initiative “Sakan Lil Misriyeen” (Housing for All Egyptians) reach those who truly deserve them.

Regulated Investment Opportunities

During a meeting with the Housing, Public Utilities, and Reconstruction Committee in Parliament today, the minister highlighted the mechanisms and policies implemented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to facilitate investment opportunities in new cities.

These mechanisms include:

  • Providing well-regulated access to various investment opportunities.
  • Encouraging all categories of investors to participate.
  • Offering diverse real estate products to meet market demand.
  • Ensuring a wide range of services for residents of new urban developments.

Vision for Sustainable Growth

The ministry’s efforts to streamline investment and housing initiatives underscore its broader vision of fostering sustainable urban development. By balancing governance with accessibility, the ministry aims to create thriving, inclusive communities that cater to both current residents and future generations.

For further details on available investment and housing opportunities, stakeholders and citizens are encouraged to consult with the New Urban Communities Authority.
