Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a regular meeting to follow up on the implementation progress and delivery plans of the residential units under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” across a number of new cities and several governorates.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Housing, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), the Central Agency for Reconstruction, and the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister stressed that such follow-ups are essential to monitor project progress and ensure that the delivery schedule is met as planned. He emphasized the importance of working diligently to provide modern housing units with integrated services, contributing to the state’s urban expansion goals and meeting the needs of various social groups, in addition to supporting sustainable development objectives.
During the meeting, reports were presented outlining the delivery schedule for units in several cities, including Sadat, New October, New Minya, New Qena, 15th of May, New Sohag, New Mallawi, Capital Gardens, 10th of Ramadan, and Gardens of October. Updates were also reviewed for infrastructure projects related to drinking water and wastewater services in cities such as Hadayek 10th of Ramadan, New Obour, Badr, New Aswan, and Capital Gardens.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny also reviewed the ongoing projects being implemented by the Central Agency for Reconstruction in a number of governorates as part of the presidential initiative.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister stressed the need to adhere to the agreed-upon timeline for delivering the units with high quality to citizens. He also directed relevant bodies to prepare regular reports and plans outlining detailed monthly delivery schedules to ensure accuracy in execution and achieve the best outcomes.
