Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, reviewed the progress of constructing housing units designated for employees of the New Administrative Capital, known as “Zahret Al-Asima” in Badr City. These projects come as part of the ministry’s efforts to provide suitable housing for various income segments and meet the demand for adequate residential options.
The minister emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest quality standards and accelerating construction rates, with the necessity of continuous on-ground supervision to ensure that projects are completed according to the set timelines. He also stressed the need to pay special attention to landscape works and surrounding service areas to present a modern urban image that reflects the development taking place in new cities.
In the same context, Engineer Ammar Mandour, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for Development and Construction, conducted an inspection tour in Badr City alongside several authority officials. The tour included several residential and service projects being implemented under the state’s urban development plan.
The visit covered the “Distinguished Housing” project in the Sixth District and the employee housing units for those relocating to the New Administrative Capital – Zahret Al-Asima District. Officials reviewed the progress of finishing works, landscaping, and road infrastructure associated with the projects.
Engineer El-Sayed Amin, Head of the Badr City Authority, pointed out that this visit confirms the direct support provided by the New Urban Communities Authority. He affirmed that efforts will be intensified to complete the projects within the specified timelines to further contribute to achieving the developmental goals.
