Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with Dr. Bahaa El-Ghannam, Head of the Mostakbal Misr for Sustainable Development Authority, to discuss a number of joint work files. The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the Mostakbal Misr Authority.
El-Sherbiny emphasized that the meeting aimed to follow up on several joint projects — most notably the “Modon Misr” Company, which provides management, maintenance, and operation services for the facilities of new cities using the latest systems, in accordance with the cooperation protocol signed with the Mostakbal Misr Authority. He explained that the company has become a key pillar in enhancing asset management, ensuring sustainable operations, and maintaining high service quality.

For his part, Dr. Bahaa El-Ghannam praised the strong cooperation with the Ministry of Housing, noting that this strategic partnership supports the goals of the New Republic in managing public utilities through principles of sustainability and governance, thereby contributing to investment promotion and development plans.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed Modon Misr’s vision for strengthening sustainability and implementing smart operation systems across city facilities. They also discussed the waste management system, maintenance of green areas and lighting, and management of public occupancy in new cities, in addition to proposals for establishing sales outlets for essential goods.
